Facilitation
As experienced facilitators the workshops, meetings and conferences we run are designed to be highly engaging, with optimum participation by all group members. We design to your specific brief, with action outcomes in mind and a flow to stimulate the creativity and imagination of participants.
Our preferred facilitation technique is Pinpoint. Whether a small team or a large group, we can get people working collaboratively and effectively, capturing their ideas, feedback and knowledge in their own words and images. As such this makes our meetings, workshops and conferences incredibly efficient, highly engaging and often tremendous fun.
What Kind of Workshops Do We Run?
You can define your own outcomes but here are some of the themes we work on:
Looking Ahead - innovating, designing and establishing outcomes for your team or organisation
The Planning Landscape – internal and external, establishing your business model, developing allegiances, planning for growth & diversification
Prioritising – Understanding what works and resolving problems, cause and effect, preparing for change
Information Gathering - observation, interviewing, understanding motivation, values and context
Building More Effective Relationships – with colleagues, stakeholders and customers - mapping, making connections, segmentation and targeting, designing a better experience
Idea Generation - Stimulating creativity, thinking tools, sharing ideas and values
Improving The Experience – experience mapping, customer journey triggers, interaction points, contact strategies
Planning to Implement – critical events, marketing planning, business planning, planning for scale
Why Use Us? Accelerated Results
We’ve all sat through those dreary meetings and workshops. Not only do we find them boring, we also know that very little of what is said is retained, many of the great ideas never get surfaced or explored properly and the energy evaporates. Our workshops are better because with we can
- Involve everyone from start to finish
- Create a productive and conducive working environment
- Generate practical solutions
- Encourage collaboration, discussion, comparison and healthy conflict to get to agreement
We do it by tapping into “multiple intelligences”
- Logical – our ability to organise thoughts sequentially and logically
- Verbal/linguistic – the ability to understand and express ideas through language
- Kinaesthetic – gaining knowledge through feedback from physical activity
- Visual/Spatial – learning through images, spotting patterns intuitively without the use of language
- Interpersonal - moods, temperaments, motivations and intentions of the group members
- Intra-personal – encouraging reflection and access to feelings as individuals
- Musical – where appropriate we also include music to help replicate the rhythm and energy it conveys in the outputs in the room
Which Makes our Workshops More Efficient
- People remain focussed and concentrate on the key issues
- Work through problems step by step or see connections between information at one time
- We collecting and compile data and analyse relationships and issues as a group
- Brainstorming alternative solutions and suggestions and evaluating options as we go
- We developing actions, owners and generate performance measures as needed
As a process, Pinpoint is ideal for training, conferencing, meetings and change processes.
We supply all free-standing pinboards and consumable materials including pens, paper, cards, pins and glue for the working space required. All you need are chairs for participants and enough floor space.
Ideal for Team-Development, Partnership & Joint Working
We begin with a brief from the team leader to design the best flow and range of activities to work out how the team can work better together to deliver the outcomes required.
Following much the same process as above, we establish requirements and desired outcomes from each party involved and then design a process and flow to the workshop to deliver on these. Where key clients are involved we take care to establish the background to relationships and ensure that we add value to the working relationship.
Focus Groups
Where there is a need to engage with stakeholders, customers or employee groups we again create a brief to understand the outcomes required and then design the best means to achieve this. We can work with an internal project manager to manage and recruit a representative sample and the logistics, or appoint a project manager to handle recruitment on behalf of the client.
